Investment Director at Novo Seeds

Stephan Christgau has written more than 60 scientific publications and is the inventor of more than 25 patent families. He has a PhD in diabetes immunology from Denmark’s Technical University and the University of California at San Francisco – and has held a number of senior positions at companies including Osteologix and Novo Nordisk. Stephan is currently on the Board of EpiTherapeutics.

 


Jens Kindtler
Jens Kindtler

Head of Tectra at Copenhagen University Hospital (Riget)

At Tectra, the technology transfer unit in the Capital Region of Denmark, Jens is responsible for ensuring that commercially viable research at hospitals is patented and developed into new products and medicines that could benefit patients and the biotech, pharma and medical industries.


Jens read civil engineering (biochemistry and molecular biology) at Denmark’s Technical University. He has an MBA from Henley Management College, UK, and is a qualified Patent Agent. He is a partner in BankInvest Biomedical Venture – and has previously worked for Novo Nordisk, Ferrosan CNS Division and the Carlsberg Research Centre.

Leif Helth Jensen has more than 28 years’ experience within the life science industry. He has been the CEO of two biotech companies, on the Board of six, and co-founded four others. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Inagen ApS, Alcorlab ApS and Rose Pharma A/S – and is the Chairman of the Board at Bone Medical Ltd., Valderm A/S, Serendex ApS, Microlytics A/S, Synome Ltd., Dencore ApS and Global Aviation A/S.

Leif has a M.Sc. in biology from the University of Copenhagen. He is the co-author of more than 35 peer-reviewed scientific papers and a co-inventor of 19 patent families. 

 


Per Sprøgel
 

Vice President, International Clinical Development, LEO Pharma

Per has a degree in medicine and held a hospital position before moving into the pharmaceutical industry. He has since had a number of positions at LEO Pharma related to medical and clincal tasks at various levels and is now responsible for LEO Pharmas Clinical Development department. Per has specific experience in the area of thrombosis and critical care.


 


Leif Helth Jensen
Pär I. Johansson

Medical Director Transfusion Medicine, Copenhagen University Hospital (Riget) 
 
The inventor of the idea that Thrombologic is building on, Pär is a specialist in anesthesiology, clinical immunology and transfusion medicine. His research focuses on the interplay between the haemostatic, inflammatory and innate immune systems in critical illness and trauma.

Pär has published more than 80 peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts and he is a member of several international research collaborations. He is also Chairman of the International Symposium on Critical Bleeding.

Karolina Rask
Karolina Rask

Before taking over at Thrombologic, Karolina was responsible for managing Phase I/II oncology clinical trials for Genmab in Copenhagen, investigating a fully human monoclonal antibody. She has also held positions at Mitsubishi Pharma Europe in London, Icon Clinical Research in Stockholm, Nuevolution in Copenhagen, and as a molecular biologist at Rockefeller University in New York City. 

Karolina has a Master’s degree in biomedicinal chemistry from the University of  Kalmar in Sweden.

Nancy J. Levy

Nancy has been on the faculty at Harvard Medical School, where she did her fellowship. She earned her Ph.D from the University of Chicago. She has worked with a range of clients from pre-IPO to mid-market companies and from venture capitalists to investment bankers. At Millenium Pharmaceuticals, she established successful collaborations with alliance partner Genentech to move a Phase II product with potential first drug indication towards the market.
